GENERAL INFORMATION:
General information for all our natural candle blends. Please note that the customer is solely responsible for the outcome of working with any of these blends. All of our all natural candle blends consist of a blend of food grade materials that may include true natural waxes such as beeswax and carnauba, vegetable oils, vegetable-derived fatty acids, fatty esters and fatty alcohols. All ingredients are based on natural renewable sources. These blends provide good fragrance retention and compatibility with essential and fragrance oils, as well as excellent mold release, good adhesion in container candles and a clean, slow, even burn. HELPFUL SUGGESTIONS: Varying the pour temperature will produce a variety of crystal shapes Lighter colors give more contrast to the crystalline appearance A non-metal wick is recommended Various shape molds will give different textures PROCESSING GUIDE: Recommended Pouring Temperature for Smooth Blends 150 – 160 F. Recommended pouring temperature for Crystalline Blends 180 –190F depending on your manufacturing conditions. Choose a wick that is slightly larger than what is normally used for the specific candle diameter. After the material is initially crystallized break the surface and re-pour to prevent voids. When a second pour is required a low temperature is recommended.
