Lemon myrtle has a cheerful lemon lime fragrance that is uplifting and invigorating. Its considered a powerful antibacterial and germicide, some even consider it a more effective germ killer than Tea Tree. Lemon myrtle is useful for respiratory problems such as colds, chest congestion and sinus problems as well as for relaxation and for relieving insomnia.
It has also been brought to our attention that this oil is used by physicians to treat MOLLUSCUM CONTAGIOSUM, diluted in a carrier oil in a 10% dilution: A contagious disease of the skin marked by the occurrence of rounded soft tumors of the skin caused by the growth of a virus (one that belongs to the virus family called the Poxviridae). The disease is characterized by the appearance of a few to numerous small, pearly, umbilicated down growths called molluscum bodies or condyloma subcutaneum. Molluscum contagiosum is mainly seen in children. In teenagers and adults it is often transmitted sexually and so may be considered a sexually transmitted disease (STD). It is a benign disorder that usually clears up by itself. The Latin "molluscus" means soft.

Beautiful, healthy oil!
I purchased this not really knowing what to expect. It is such a crisp citrusy scent & very bright & up lifting. Its like lemon but with green notes. It helped a friend of mine with feeling more balanced & less stressed when I used this in a blend for her. She has always been a person that has a hard time relaxing, even when she is in a good mood & not anxious about anything. After using this in her relaxation blend I prepared for about a week, she said she felt much better & upon watching her as she worked she was much more relaxed than she previously had been :0)

Wonderful, and STRONG!
This stuff is great... a beautifully crisp, clean scent that's much more than just 'plain' lemon. Deeper & sweeter. And it's STRONG. I use 1 drop in 8 oz. of my lotions and it's MORE than enough. As such, my 1/4 oz. bottle is going to last me for a while! This is a must have if you like citrus and want the citrus smells without the added photo sensitivity that comes with citrus oils.

Gotta try it!
I ordered this one a few weeks ago and just ordered more. I ran out quickly, it's just so useful in so many of my blends. Beneficial as well. This one is probably in my top 10 of essential oils now....it's THAT good.

Splendid citrus-scented oil
Heavenly smell for any citrus lover! Not just straight lemon- it's more complicated than that. I'm not a perfumer so I may not have the proper words to describe it but it's slightly sweet, quite lemony but there is an undertone of green plant in there that's really nice. I received this as a sample and I like it so much, I don't want to put it in anything! I just want to open it now and then and smell it. Excellent.
