Warm, green, herbaceous and spicy. Smells like the plant. The oil, because of its depurative property, is traditionally used in aromatherapy for the treatment of arthritis, cellulite and accumulation of toxins. It is also an emmenagogue and is recommended for the treatment of amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea and as an aid during childbirth. It is an abortifacient and its use is not recommended during pregnancy.
