PHTHALATE FREE. Cucumber Melon: This is a great FO, very, very strong, very clean .....Top notes of sun-ripened cucumber, watermelon, and honeydew. Soft, green, and fresh. Our tester found that in CP and HP there was no discoloration, in M&P this FO tended to settle on the top of the MP....will need extra stirring to incorporate it. Minimal discoloration. Flash point: 195F.

This is one my favorites. I have sold a lot of bath scrubs with this scent, the customers love it. Thank you Camden Grey!

4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Fragrance for speedy soapers!, 10.4.2009
Reviewer: reyreyes (Miami, FL)

It actually smells like cucumber-melon although it will mute a bit in CP - that's a plus. Why 4 stars and not 5? Well, after adding the fragrance to the soap (CP), first it was all right, than, suddenly (and when I say suddenly, I mean SUDDENLY) started to thicken up so quickly, that in about a couple of secs, there was nothing but heavy, thick and hot soap-dough in my pot. Next time I will use more water and forget about the marbling!

Reply from Camden-Grey: At the time we added Cucumber Melon to our FO’s, our tester provided us with this report based on her findings: “This is a great FO, very, very strong, very clean .....Top notes of sun-ripened cucumber, watermelon, and honeydew. Soft, green, and fresh. Our tester found that in CP and HP there was no discoloration, in M&P this FO tended to settle on the top of the MP....will need extra stirring to incorporate it. Minimal discoloration.”

When we received this customer’s slightly negative report, we sent Cucumber Melon again to our tester in 12/09, this is what she reported at that time: Goat milk M&P: Maybe it's just me, but I think it smells sweeter in GM than in the clear MP or the CP. Strong, didn't discolor and didn't eat plastic, which is very good. Clear M&P: - I think the scent comes out better in MP than in CP. Clear and no discoloration. Ate plastic just a bit. In CP: Cucumber melon did not seize at all - or even accelerate trace - and I used it in two separate samples.
