This is a melt & pour lip balm base. It’s an all natural product that offers natural antioxidant benefits along with excellent emollience. Melt this base at low temperature (double boiler or very low microwave temp), stir, add whatever other ingredients you wish to add and stir well.

Recommended usage rate of flavor oils: 1/4-1/2 teaspoon to 4 ounces of balm; 3/4 teaspoon to 8 ounces of balm; 1-1/2 teaspoons to a pound of balm. This may have to be adjusted based on the weakness or strength of a particular flavor oil. Try to stay away from any citrus essential oils because many citrus oils will react on the skin when exposed to sunlight and burns may result. Our flavor oils are unsweetened. You may wish to add honey or Stevia.

Ingredients: Castor oil, cetyl stearyl alcohol from palm/coconut oil, olive oil, beeswax, hydrogenated castor oil, soybean oil, lauryl laurate from coconut oil, carnauba wax and candelilla wax.

Shelf life: Minimum 1 year when properly stored....away from direct heat/light, in a cool place, tightly closed. This product does not contain preservatives.
