Sold by weight. This natural shampoo base is made exclusively for us without the much dreaded Sodium Lauryl Sulphate(SLS), Sodium Laureth Sulphate(SLES) or Ammonium Lauryl Sulphate. It’s also paraben free. This is the closest you will get to a pure shampoo that will leave your hair moisturized and clean without the base separating and having to be refrigerated as is the case with many natural shampoos. This shampoo is thinner than synthetic clear shampoos, but lathers and foams very well. When you add your EO or FO to this base, it may thin and possibly cloud since there are no clarifying agents or synthetic thickeners added. This is normal. Please add the least possible amount of EO or FO and increase while watching that the base doesn’t cloud too much or liquefies. In keeping with our customers’ concerns, this product is as close to “natural” as possible.
