    This worked a lot of miracles with me! It's soothing and relaxing, most specially it took my headaches away! Before this product arrived I saw a neurologist for my migraine headaches and was resistant for medications. I told my doctor I want to do it naturally and so I incorporated this with my body butter and it worked wonders. I have not had any headaches for the past 2 weeks now. knock on wood! Thanks Camden-Grey!

    In my search for the perfect Lavender scent for my soaps, I have tried a lot of Bulgarian Lavender essential oils from various suppliers. Camden-Grey's Bulgarian Lavender is my absolute favorite Lavender essential oil for use in my Lavender and Lavender blend cold process soaps. I use this essential oil both as a standalone and also in various blends to either enhance a floral blend or slightly sweeten woodsy blends. This essential oil is the perfect lavender scent to me, does not accelerate trace in my experience, lasts a long time in my cured soaps, and has been consistently good over my many orders from Camden-Grey.

    Bulgarian lavender is my favorite of the lavenders so I had to compare Camden Grey's to others I've tried and I have to say this one is top notch. It's floral but herbaceous and slightly woody in nature. The perfect combination for a lavender. I'm going to make a batch of cold processed soap with this one to compare it to the other lavenders I've purchased (from here as well as elsewhere). This one is a winner in every sense of the word.
    One of my favorites...

    I really do love this oil. It has such a wonderful scent and is so helpful for headaches. I suffer from pretty terrible migraines and dabbing a bit of this on my temples helps me so much. I like to relax with some of it in my bath, or soak my feet in a foot bath with a few drops. It's also great to add to your moisturizer, it helps rid you of any redness or irritation.
    Always love

    This lavender is in my salve that has seriously helped psoriasis, eczema, and severely cracked skin on all body parts including feet. Every ingredient I use in my salve is bought from Camden Grey and it's my most popular product! I love this place!
    Bulgaria = finer version of 40/42

    I have long been a fan of Camden Grey's 40/42 Lavender, but recently got curious to try out Bulgaria, French, and Maillette oils as well. I submitted my opinions for all four in the 40/42 area, but thought I'd also share my review of Bulgaria Lavender here. 40/42 = Both sharp and quintessentially lavender smelling. Bulgaria = Finer than 40/42, but most similar to it in terms of its complexity. French = Very fine, soft, even delicate scent. Reminds me most of Lavender flowers on the plant. Maillette = warm and very mild, almost woodsy, very earthy with a little sharpness. My final two cents on Bulgaria: it is a finer version of 40/42; I think perhaps suited equally well for aromatherapy and being used neat on the skin. I'm no soapmaker or perfumer, but I would venture to guess this one is a bit too delicate to be diluted with other stuff. Hope this was helpful! Cheers! Thanks, Camden Grey; I love you!

    This is my favorite lavender, it is a very nice quality for the price. It doesn't have too strong of a camphor smell, it is light and floral. I have used it for soap, lotion, and bath salts and is wonderful for all.
    Just Love This Stuff..

    I cannot get enough of this Lavender it's like the staple for all my products... this Lavender out sells all the other fragrances I have. I shopped around and bought another Lavender not realizing that it was "French" Lavender I bought from another company...when it came my son smelled it and said mom I don't want to offend you...but that smells like "cat liter". Needless to say I have never bout that lavender again, and make sure that I stick with Camden Grey on this one!

    Thanks for browsing thru this section which contains answers to many questions that are often asked of us. Here we explain where to locate CofA and SDS for a product, how we dispense and package our products, how products should be stored, basic terminology and the wait time for bulk products to ship from our warehouse. FYI: We're closed on Fridays.

    Certificate of Analysis (CofA) and Safety Data Sheet (SDS). We publish on our website those documents for most of our products, some products don't provide either because the product doesn't require it. In this same section where you're at now, look to the tab to the left titled Documents, click on it and that's where you'll find either document for the product you seek. If you do not find the document you require, please email us at customerservice@camdengrey.com so we can research further.

    BULK ITEMS: When a customer adds a bulk item to the cart, the customer’s immediately shown on the screen how many number of days should be allowed for the bulk product to arrive at our warehouse. If the bulk item happens to be in stock, we’ll ship sooner than the customer would expect. As we emerge from Covid, logistics operations are not yet back to normal, what used to arrive at our warehouse in 3 days now takes much longer. Should a vendor inform us the ordered product will take longer than what’s mentioned on our website we’ll email the customer with the latest information.

    TERMINOLOGY:

    EO = essential oil

    FO = fragrance oil

    HOW PRODUCTS ARE DISPENSED...

    BOTTLING/PACKAGING:

    Essential oils: in 1/32 oz. to 1/4 oz...amber glass vials with orifice reducers. ½ oz. to 2 oz...in amber glass bottles with white caps and Eurodroppers...3 to 4 oz. in amber glass bottles with black caps and without orifice reducers...7 oz. in aluminum bottles...15 oz. in amber glass bottles with black caps...10 & 25 lbs. in HDPE plastic containers with wide mouths although, occasionally, 25 lbs. may be dispensed in factory-issued metal containers with pouring spouts.

    28 lbs. of carrier oils and other liquids are dispensed in individual HDPE plastic gallon containers with handles, each holds the purchased net weight of liquid.

    30+ lbs. of carrier oils, other liquids, soft butters, Castile gel and other products are dispensed in plastic HDPE pails w/metal handles & pouring spouts in the lid; those products may remain inside the pails indefinitely when properly stored. After Covid, we reserve the right to use any packaging/dispensing container available to us and not mentioned above because it continues to be difficult many times to restock the same packaging container or material used in the past.

    NOTE: An EO may safely remain inside an aluminum container for up to 3 months, but if storing longer than 3 months the oil should be transferred to amber glass. Fragrances and carrier oils up to 8 lbs. may remain inside HDPE plastic bottles indefinitely. If the customer at any time feels more comfortable transferring a product to glass this should be done. ALL PRODUCTS ARE DISPENSED BY WEIGHT, THUS, SOME CONTAINERS MAY BE FILLED HIGHER THAN OTHERS DEPENDING ON THE WEIGHT AND VISCOSITY OF EACH PRODUCT.

    Raw materials/ingredients are dispensed by weight. Many customers ask how many ounces in a pound, there are 16 ounces in one pound. These are not fluid ounces, they are ounces by weight.

    HOW TO STORE: EOs, FOs and BUTTERS should be stored in tightly-sealed containers away from direct light and heat. Some EOs could be highly flammable, keep away from open flames. Keep all liquids and powders you purchase from Camden-Grey tightly capped and away from the reach of children, the elderly or infirm and pets. Refrigerating butters could adversely affect the consistency of the butter, please join our Forum if you need to learn how to handle, work with and store products.
