IT SEEMS SOME CUSTOMERS ARE NOT PAYING ATTENTION TO THE WARRANTY AND RETURN POLICY ON THESE SCALES!!

Since we began selling Escali scales, we have had one report of a scale malfunctioning soon after arrival. We received a second report. We will copy and paste a portion of email correspondence with the second customer so you can see how errors can be made by the customer. In this case, there was nothing actually wrong with the scale, it was user error. See that post at the end of these paragraphs without corrections made to actual emails received.

POLICY:

We are very clear about our policy regarding these scales, please be sure you understand this policy BEFORE you order a scale.

One year warranty directly thru manufacturer, not thru Camden-Grey, retain your receipt as proof of purchase.

All defects, repairs, etc. from the moment you receive this scale are the responsibility of the manufacturer. Please contact Escali directly, contact information will be found with the original papers inside the original packing box.

Camden-Grey will not handle repairs for scales and will not accept returns of scales. All sales are final.

Email correspondence from customer with a complaint:

First email: I just receive my order, but the scale is not working,please call me as soon as possible so we can resolve this problem.Thanks.

Second email: The SCALE you send to me is not working. I have try to call to leave a message, but is no answer machine.....

Our reply: Thanks for contacting us. What is the matter with the scale? Is the battery placed in the correct position? This is our policy regarding all scales: All defects, repairs, etc. from the moment you receive this scale are the responsibility of the manufacturer.
