Hibiscus As Facial Steams
I have added Hibiscus flowers to my facial steam blend, This gives my blend of dried lavender, chammomile, peppermint and calendula, and now Hibiscus, vitamin C to the skin. It also adds a rich reddish-purplish color to my blend. I have been drinking the tea for many years, I blend it with lemongrass and ginger, hot or cold.

Lots of uses for this flower
This pretty flower has a lot of healthy uses that you can utilize by making a tea with it. It also has beauty uses for your skin and hair. At the moment I am steeping about a cup of the flowers in a cup of of Red Palm oil for a deep conditioner on my hair and to use when I Rhassoul Clay clean my hair. I ordered a pound and was really surprised that there seemed to be so much in the bag!!!

These are amazing flowers! So good for you & tasty as well! I ordered 8oz to use in extracts, liniments, & for tea for my mother because she loves their taste so much! Of course when I shared my bounty with her my sister was there & I wound up having to give them to her as well so Ill be ordering more again soon! These just smell divine! Are good for medicinal purposes and for scent as well! They could easily be used in sachets for a wedding, to use in your own home, to extract & make jelly, skincare, or as already stated used as tea!

I tried the hibiscus flowers as a tea. It has a wonderful fruity tart flavor. I added a little honey and it is great. My first time trying hibiscus flower tea so I was pleasantly suprised. I saw on Dr. Oz that 2 cups of this tea each day will help to lower blood pressure. Whether it will or not is yet to be seen but either way I have a great new addition to my tea family. Also I make fizzy bath bombs and I think the flowers will add a beautiful color to bombs and it is good for the skin.

This is good for high blood pressure and colds especially with ginger. I also use this in my regiments rub, great for the skin and the color of my regiments rub.
