descriptionOur paraben-free Shealoe Butter is a thick cream (soft-solid) with an off-white color which consists of 40-60% shea butter and 35-50% aloe barbadensis leaf juice. This product may be used *as is* or may become a part of ingredients for creating skin, lip or hair care products. Healing, moisturizing aloe gel has been combined with nutritive, emollient shea butter....a winning combination!
When added to anhydrous (without water) mixtures, gently heat Shealoe no higher than 131F (55C) to prevent separation and add to other oils in your formulation when they have reached the same temperature as the Shealoe. When adding to a hot process, Shealoe may be added at the oil phase and processed up to 176F(80C). You might find that the Shealoe emulsion may separate, but when the two phases are combined the product will emulsify once again.
Store at room temperature. Shelf life: 1-2 years when properly stored and tightly sealed, handle with just washed hands/implements or clean disposable gloves.
This product may be used in body lotions/gels, facial moisturizers, bath oils and bombs, lip balms, rubs/liniments, topical anesthetics and ointments. May be used in 1% to 10% for cosmetic applications, may also be used at 100%. Product is free of BSE/TSE, GMO, pesticide; no animal testing. INCI: Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (and) Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), polysorbate 60, sorbitan stearate, phenoxyethanol, methylisothiazolinone, BHT. NOTE: Temperatures while in transit to the customer may affect the consistency of this butter, if very hot it may arrive liquid, if very cold it may arrive solid; leave it at room temperature until it becomes soft-solid again.
NOTE FROM OUR TESTER: Not recommended for making soap. This product contains emulsifiers, preservatives, and stabilizers. Among other things, it separates when heated and it contains a large water-based component. It would be nearly impossible to saponify it correctly.

Soft Kinky Hair
The Shealoe is a light moisturizing cream that may take a while to absorb, but it leaves hair and skin cotton soft.

It goes on greasy which is typical for most body butter, but soaks into the skin well. Leaves it soft and smooth. Amazing mixture of really moisturizing ingredients for hair.

A great find!
When I saw this product, I thought...'Yes, that is a great combination!" I use it on my hair, it makes a great, moisturizer and helps to give slick down the edges of my hair better than any product I have tried.

HOW TO STORE: Upon receipt, EO's dispensed in plastic bottles MUST be transferred into amber glass bottles. EO's, FO's and BUTTERS should be stored in tightly-sealed containers away from direct light and heat. Many oils could be highly flammable, keep away from open flames.
