It is semi-liquid because the procedure is to stop the solvent evaporation before the end, leaving around 5% of the alcohol in it in order to keep it semi-liquid. Most of the benzoin resinoid you find on the market is cut at 50 % with DPG. There’s no DPG in ours. NOTE: This is a very thick, dark colored product. It’s up to the customer to figure out how to work with this product and/or incorporate it into their recipe. Warming the jar or bottle may help, as well as dissolving it in jojoba or vodka.
