This EO offers a strong, dry-balsamic, turpentine-like odor. This oil is said to be antiseptic, bactericidal, decongestant, deodorant, diuretic, expectorant, and insecticidal. Known to refresh a tired mind and mental fatigue...it is invigorating. It is a powerful antiseptic and helpful in cases of bronchitis, laryngitis and influenza. Has good effect on respiratory problems due to its expectorant properties.
Many say it is effective with cystitis and prostate problems and known as a general kidney cleanser. Its warming properties may relieve rheumatism, gout and arthritis, may be beneficial for muscular pain and stiffness. A wonderful house cleaner and deodorizer. Blends well with cedarwood, clove, myrtle, and niaouli. Pine can be very irritating on the skin, use with caution and well diluted. Owning a small apothecary in the Northwest US, this Pine essential oil is indispensible as clients love love love forest and woodsy scented items. I blend it with multiple cedars and citrus eo's for an unbelievable masculine scent that is very grounding and calming. My male clients say that women love smelling the piney-woods scent. Its bright and fresh and smells just like crushing pine needles between your fingers while under a canopy of green wonderment...

Very nice Scots Pine!
In case you are searching for Scots Pine, this is the essential oil you want (Pinus sylvestris). I use it as a key ingredient in custom aromatherapy blends for myself and others who can benefit from its energetically fortifying effects and its help in setting boundaries. As with everything I have purchased at Camden-Grey over the years, it is of excellent quality and is cleanly packaged and clearly labeled.
