T-50 all natural vitamin E
descriptionNOTE: Large quantities/sizes of any product may have to be special ordered. If that's the case, customers must allow a minimum of 10 business days for a new supply to arrive at our warehouse. Some products could arrive sooner, some later. Cancellations are not allowed because an item becomes 'out of stock' soon after the customer places the order, the 'out of stock' product will ship as soon as it arrives at our warehouse. What do we consider large quantities/sizes of our products? Some examples are products classified as bulk or that include the word 'bulk' in the product's name, products offered in 5+ lbs., expensive EO's offered in 1+ lb. and certain quantities of packaging materials. If it's important for you to know before placing an order if a certain quantity's in stock, please email email@example.com and inquire before placing the order. The nature of our business is such that what is in stock in the morning may not be in stock in the afternoon. All products are subject to prior sale.
NOTE: If we unexpectedly encounter a problem with the packaging material used to pack the product you ordered (defective/missing part or delivery to us delayed for any reason including road/weather conditions or the manufacturer has a manufacturing delay, etc.) we cannot ship until the correct packaging part/material is delivered to us. Please understand this and do not place an order if this paragraph presents a problem for you. In 20 years in business we've only had one instance where delivery to us of empty 35 lb. pails/lids was delayed a couple of days. (Rev. 6/19/18)
Sold by weight. T-50 all natural vitamin E. With daily concerns over the safety of synthetic ingredients, why risk the success of your products by using synthetic antioxidants? There are two classes of natural Vitamin E: tocopherols and tocotrienols. We offer you all natural low d-alpha mixed tocopherols or T-50.
Tocopherols: A term used to describe the collection of all the tocopherols in Vitamin E that occur naturally in food. There are 4 types of tocopherols: d-alpha, d-beta, d-gamma and d-delta. Low d-alpha mixed tocopherols are often used to slow the onset of rancidity in fats and oils. Natural oxidants are isolated from vegetable oils and concentrated to contain a mixture of d-alpha (commonly known as Vitamin E), d-beta, d-gamma and d-delta tocopherols.
T-50 is all natural, low d-alpha mixed tocopherols, has 500 mg total tocopherols, and is a brownish-red, clear, viscous oil (color may differ slightly from batch to batch). When you compare prices between the gel caps commonly sold in drugstores and these Tocopherols, pound per pound Tocopherols are a lot less expensive to use, not to mention that you will be using all natural Vitamin E and not synthetic.
At proper usage levels T-50 does not contribute odor, taste or color to the end product. Tocopherols are natures perfect antioxidant. The optimal level of tocopherols in finished products will range from 0.01% to 0.1% of the fat or oil content. Because antioxidants can only prevent oxidation, not reverse it, it is important to add the antioxidant as early in the process as possible.
Tocopherols also slow the onset of rancidity in fats & oils in your soaps & lotions. If you superfat your soaps, then Vitamin E is a must so that your soaps will not develop rancidity in a few months. Tocopherols also help to protect the most vulnerable citrus essential oils.
Recommended usage: 4 drops per one pound of oils in a recipe. T-50 is insoluble in water. Constituents of our T-50 mixture: 50/50 natural mixed tocopherols & partially hydrogenated vegetable oil, mainly soybean oil. May be labeled as natural vitamin E in finished products. Do not refrigerate, store in cool place. Shelf life: 36 months when stored in an unopened container. Per the manufacturer, this product is food grade and is GRAS. We do not sell this product for food applications or for ingestion, we do not provide any type of certification for this product. INCI: Tocopherol.

******The following ARE the ingredients of our T-50:
Ingredients: Fully refined vegetable oil (mainly soybean) and mixed tocopherols (E306), which are permanently exempted from allergen labelling (*see below). Due to the natural raw material and the manufacturing process applied, other vegetable oil constituents may be present.
**Exemption from Allergen labeling:
Fully refined soybean oil and natural mixed tocopherols (E 306) from soybean sources are permanently exempted from allergen labelling according to Commission Directive 2007/68/EC of 27 November 2007 establishing a list of food ingredients or substances excluded from Annex IIIa of Directive 2000/13/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council.
All major producers of natural source vitamin E use the same raw material, vegetable oil distillate, which is a by-product of edible oil production. The distillate comes from a variety of oilseeds. Quantitatively, the primary source is soy. The manufacturer uses extensive purification processes to produce natural mixed tocopherols and natural source vitamin E. These purification processes remove any foreign material, specifically DNA and protein, which might occur in vegetable oil distillate resulting from the genetic modification of soya.
Nevertheless, to confirm the absence of DNA derived from genetically modified organisms in this vitamin E product, the products are analyzed by an independent, certified laboratory using state of the art methods (PCR, Polymerase Chain Reaction) which have been validated in extensive interlaboratory trials.
These tests have proven this vitamin E to be PCR-negative, i.e., free from genetically modified DNA. Still, under the recent European Regulations on genetically modified food and feed [Regulation (EC) No. 1829/2003] and on the traceability and labeling of GMOs and of foods derived thereof [Regulation (EC) No. 1830/2003] these products need to be labeled according to the provisions of the Regulations.
This product is manufactured in the U.S.. All of the above information was provided to us by the manufacturer.

You cannot go wrong with this T-50. The color is good and you know you are getting what you pay for. As with the other raw materials from these folks the smell is fresh.

Affordable product. I use it for all my homemade concoctions. This is by far the best Vitamin E I have used.

The real deal!
For years I have purchased my vitamin E oil from the grocery store. I was just recently informed that what I was purchasing was not legit. Vitamin E oil is not supposed to be pale yellow in color. Instead, it should look exactly like what I received from Camden-Grey. I am so glad to have found this at such a great price, and will be using it to help preserve all of my homemade goodies.

I use this in all my homemade creams and it preserves them nicely. This is a staple product in my home and I've gotten great mileage from my supply. Thanks Camden!

Great product! Great price!
I use this in lip balms and my husband's homemade hemorrhoid medicine. It works great, does not smell and is not messy like those little pills that you have to cut open and squeeze. Thanks for the great price!
OUT OF STOCK ISSUES: If a customer orders a large quantity of a product and all of the product is not in stock when the order is entered into our system, once the new stock arrives we will ship separately whatever quantity we may owe the customer. Most of our restocking orders arrive at our warehouse 5-7 business days after we place a restocking order, sometimes sooner. Should the distiller or vendor inform us restocking will take longer than 7 business days, we’ll promptly notify the customer.
Please note that we do not allow order cancellations for any reason and we don’t allow removal/cancellations of products which become partially or completely out of stock after the customer places an order.
Raw materials/ingredients are dispensed by weight. Many customers ask how many ounces in a pound, there are 16 ounces in one pound. These are not fluid ounces, they are ounces by weight.
EO = essential oil
FO = fragrance oil
Our containers are filled with products to where our commercial digital scales indicate the container should be filled. Some containers will be filled to the top, some will not.
HOW OILS ARE DISPENSED: All our products are dispensed by weight. EO's in 8 oz. through 2 lbs. - amber plastic pharmaceutical-grade bottle. EO's in 5 and 10 lbs. - heavy duty plastic container w/pouring spout, the oil may remain inside the container at least 2 months. EO's in sizes of 25+ lbs. - industry-standard metal or plastic can with a pouring spout, the oil may remain inside the metal can indefinitely and up to 2 months in the plastic pail. It's our decision in which type of pail we dispense the product, metal cans are not readily available. CARRIER OILS - plastic bottles/pails depending on the size ordered, do not need to be transferred to glass unless you wish to do so. FO's - in plastic containers, contents do not need to be transferred to glass unless you wish to do so.
Essential oils in sizes from ½ oz. to 4 oz. are dispensed in amber glass bottles without orifice reducers or glass droppers. If we ever run out of amber glass bottles, we reserve the right to use any other glass bottle available at that time. The only sizes of EO's dispensed with orifice reducers are 1/32, 1/16, 1/8 and 1/4 oz. sizes. If you require bottles/vials with orifice reducers or Eurodroppers, we sell those separately.
HOW TO STORE: Upon receipt, EO's dispensed in plastic bottles MUST be transferred into amber glass bottles. EO's, FO's and BUTTERS should be stored in tightly-sealed containers away from direct light and heat. Many oils could be highly flammable, keep away from open flames. Refrigerating butters could adversely affect the consistency of the butter, please join our Forum if you need to learn how to handle and store products.
