Deters moths and other insects, usually in drawers and closets. Care should be taken that garments do not directly touch wood treated with Cedarwood essential oil.

    Dry woody notes
I love this oil and use it very frequently. It smells woody, with dry middle notes and a sweet top note. Not quite as woody as other I've purchased before, but very close. Great for manly blends.
    Great value
I have been using cedar wood more and more in my CP soaps. It blends well with virtually everything. It is also an excellent value. You can't go wrong here.
    Rich, Warm, Long-lasting
I had used the Atlas Cedarwood e.o. previously and then decided to try the Virginia Cedarwood e.o. I think it has a much nicer warm woodsy scent and seems to have good lasting power in my cp soaps. It is the main scent in my 'man soap' and is a best seller!
    GREAT
I really like this scent. It is very comparable to Sandalwood but the price is a lot better!!!! I would be interested to compare this with the other Cedarwood that Camden Grey offers.
    Oooohhhh the best ever!
Combined with sweet orange and a few drop of lemongrass and wow! Awesome. Used in our soap, it smells so fresh and yet manly and yet not over powering for a women. I also made it as a roll-on as I could not get enough of this smell - its Awesome! A must have!
Nice woodsy scent for the cost
I combined this with your rose geranium e.o in a CP soap and the result is divine. The two perfectly balance each other out. This is a great priced "woodsy" scent. My customers are always asking for "manly" scents and this one is a winner.
    Excellent depth of aroma
If you've only ever tried other varieties of cedarwood such as Atlas Cedarwood, you're in for a treat. Virginia cedarwood has a deep, rich aroma, primarily more "foresty" than terpeneous, and this is a luscious example of the stuff: woody scent with satisfying sweet nuances, less like cut wood and more like live trees. Better priced than most, too. I'm really glad to have made this purchase.
    Virginia (Eastern Red) Cedar e.o.
This is an excellent distillation of a very American oil and one of my favorite wood aromas, even if it is affordable. Your VA cedar is comforting and has great warmth; I look forward to seeing how it combines with other fragrances.
    Love It!
I was afraid to get this one, b/c there were so many positive reviews for the other cedar EO Camden-Grey offers. But I am weird and think inanimate objects have feelings so I tried this Virginia Cedarwood and I am so glad. It smells fantastic. PERFECT for my Christmas soapmaking. And my closets. :)
    Perfect!
This is such a beautiful Cedarwood, I purchased the 4 oz. Has a lovely sweetness to it, and reminds me of cedar shavings; unlike the much sharper Atlas variety. I've gotten both types from you and this one is hands down a keeper and I will indeed be re-ordering more from you. The price is fantastic as well. If your tossing around which one to buy...I'm nudging you to try this one out.
