    PHTHALATE FREE. Plumeria: This is a very nice FO .. not sickly sweet like some other plumerias on the market. It is also nice and strong. A nice blend of tropical fruits & flowers...brings to mind Hawaii and the tropics. An irresistible blend of fruits and florals. Our tester found almost no discoloration in CP, HP and M&P. Clear M&P was crystal clear. Flash point: >200

    Sgtrong and sweet
    I think this scent is actually stronger than a real plumeria. It did well in cold process soap -- the scent remained strong after months of drying/curing. It is a bit of a heavy scent (heavier than lavender, which is also sweet, but tends to be light in my mind.) Overall, I prefer the lavender, but this is a good, staying fragrance. (Too strong for me to use in lotions or shampoo.) If you like floral, this one is floral.
    Spot On!
    I'll admit, I was never a fan of Plumeria until I tried mixing it with other fragrance and essential oils and WOW! It's exactly what is needed to keep a product, be it soap, cream or you, from smelling like a straight tangerine or lemon. It was a game changer in my book, the world of mixed scents will never be the same.
    Plumeria with punch
    This plumeria is nice and strong, so a dab in your blends goes a long way. It's not overly sweet like many on the market. It's more floral, as I expect the flower would be. It soaps nicely.
    Wonderful Floral
    I am using this for Soy Candles. It is a wonderful Plumeria. I was seeking a Plumeria that was a floral blend and also want Phtate Free. This Plumeria is perfect
    Perfect
    Easy to use, makes great soaps and also used in a nice solid perfume. Much better than other Plumeria bought from other suppliers - I'll only be using this one in future.
    Nice floral scent
    This smells a little too sweet to me in the bottle but in my soaps it lightens up a lot. I frankly didn't like it in the bottle and mixed it with orange EO in the soap. It came out a sweet, light floral with orange undertones. I had no problem using this in my CP soaps. I gave it four stars instead of five because I still haven't found a plumeria that smells exactly like a live plumeria flower to me (I lived in Hawaii and raise my own plumerias now) but this one is close and much less perfume-y and heavy than others I've tried. Overall a great floral scent and easy to use.
    fresh, sweet and easy to use
    I used 2 oz in 33 ounces of CP soap. I have used another Plumeria from a difference company (no offense, Camden Grey) but the acceleration in trace made it harder to work with. I wasn't sure what to expect from this but I had absolutely no problems and no acceleration at all. Did a three color soap without having to rush it. Initially the scent seemed a little heavy but as it's drying a little, it's becoming fresher, lighter and is very pleasant and lovely. Smells different than out of the bottle, so don't judge just by that. This is very definitely worth a batch. I give it 4 stars for smell because I'd like it to have a little more heady lightness, something that makes my head feel a little light, which I've gotten from other plumerias, but it does get a full 5 stars for ease of use. Wish you had a 1/2 star option! I guess the 4 star is a from more subjective point- what I like to smell- vs the 5 stars for how the FO behaves and the ease of soaping. with it.
    Definitely plumeria!
    I haven't yet made anything with this fragrance oil, but on my test strip it is a little strong. I know this is to be expected with plumeria as I used to have a body spray (not home made) and it was on the strong side itself. But, I do have to say this fragrance oil hits the mark with how plumeria smells. I'm looking forward to using it in my own body spray blend.

    Thanks for browsing thru this section which contains answers to many questions that are often asked of us. Here we explain where to locate CofA and SDS for a product, how we dispense and package our products, how products should be stored, basic terminology and the wait time for bulk products to ship from our warehouse. FYI: We're closed on Fridays.

    Certificate of Analysis (CofA) and Safety Data Sheet (SDS). We publish on our website those documents for most of our products, some products don't provide either because the product doesn't require it. In this same section where you're at now, look to the tab to the left titled Documents, click on it and that's where you'll find either document for the product you seek. If you do not find the document you require, please email us at customerservice@camdengrey.com so we can research further.

    BULK ITEMS: When a customer adds a bulk item to the cart, the customer’s immediately shown on the screen how many number of days should be allowed for the bulk product to arrive at our warehouse. If the bulk item happens to be in stock, we’ll ship sooner than the customer would expect. As we emerge from Covid, logistics operations are not yet back to normal, what used to arrive at our warehouse in 3 days now takes much longer. Should a vendor inform us the ordered product will take longer than what’s mentioned on our website we’ll email the customer with the latest information.

    TERMINOLOGY:

    EO = essential oil

    FO = fragrance oil

    HOW PRODUCTS ARE DISPENSED...

    BOTTLING/PACKAGING:

    Essential oils: in 1/32 oz. to 1/4 oz...amber glass vials with orifice reducers. ½ oz. to 2 oz...in amber glass bottles with white caps and Eurodroppers...3 to 4 oz. in amber glass bottles with black caps and without orifice reducers...7 oz. in aluminum bottles...15 oz. in amber glass bottles with black caps...10 & 25 lbs. in HDPE plastic containers with wide mouths although, occasionally, 25 lbs. may be dispensed in factory-issued metal containers with pouring spouts.

    28 lbs. of carrier oils and other liquids are dispensed in individual HDPE plastic gallon containers with handles, each holds the purchased net weight of liquid.

    30+ lbs. of carrier oils, other liquids, soft butters, Castile gel and other products are dispensed in plastic HDPE pails w/metal handles & pouring spouts in the lid; those products may remain inside the pails indefinitely when properly stored. After Covid, we reserve the right to use any packaging/dispensing container available to us and not mentioned above because it continues to be difficult many times to restock the same packaging container or material used in the past.

    NOTE: An EO may safely remain inside an aluminum container for up to 3 months, but if storing longer than 3 months the oil should be transferred to amber glass. Fragrances and carrier oils up to 8 lbs. may remain inside HDPE plastic bottles indefinitely. If the customer at any time feels more comfortable transferring a product to glass this should be done. ALL PRODUCTS ARE DISPENSED BY WEIGHT, THUS, SOME CONTAINERS MAY BE FILLED HIGHER THAN OTHERS DEPENDING ON THE WEIGHT AND VISCOSITY OF EACH PRODUCT.

    Raw materials/ingredients are dispensed by weight. Many customers ask how many ounces in a pound, there are 16 ounces in one pound. These are not fluid ounces, they are ounces by weight.

    HOW TO STORE: EOs, FOs and BUTTERS should be stored in tightly-sealed containers away from direct light and heat. Some EOs could be highly flammable, keep away from open flames. Keep all liquids and powders you purchase from Camden-Grey tightly capped and away from the reach of children, the elderly or infirm and pets. Refrigerating butters could adversely affect the consistency of the butter, please join our Forum if you need to learn how to handle, work with and store products.
