    Botanical Name: Melaleuca alternifolia

    Plant Part: leaf/twig

    Country of Origin: Australia

    Method of Extraction: Steam Distillation

Fresh and antiseptic, rather pungent aroma, some might characterize it as medicinal. This is a  "must have" essential oil. It is antibiotic, antiseptic, antiviral, bactericide, cicatrizant, expectorant, fungicide, insecticide and sudorific. Although it may cause irritation on sensitive areas of skin, along with Lavender, it is just about the only oil that many recommend to be used neat or straight from the bottle without dilution.

Tea tree has extensive applications in medicine and veterinary medicine (rarely, if ever, used on cats or birds, use caution). Its most important usage is to help the immune system fight off infectious diseases. Activates the white corpuscles to form a defense against invading organisms and helps to shorten the duration of illness. Indicated for influenza, cold sores, and gingivitis.

A series of massage with this oil before surgery may help to fortify the body. Its strong antiviral and germicidal properties are useful in repeated infections. Its fungicidal properties help clear vaginal thrush and is of value with genital infections generally. Alleviates urinary tract problems such as cystitis. Gives relief to genital and anal itching as well as general itching from chicken pox to rashes caused by insect bites. Said to give some protection against x-ray therapy in breast cancer. It will apparently reduce scarring when applied before treatment as the protective film will guard against very deep penetration of the x-rays. Helps to ease otitis. Reduces pus in infected wounds. Clears blemishes caused by chicken pox and shingles. Useful with minor burns, sores, sunburn, ringworm, warts, tinea, herpes and athletes foot. Helpful with dry conditions of the scalp as well as dandruff.

Blends well with cinnamon, clove, cypress, eucalyptus, ginger, lavender, and thyme. Flash point: 130F.  Cannot ship via air or ocean.

    Deep stuff.
Strong camphorous smell of Tea Tree. This one does not lie. If you can handle it, this will serve you well.
Excellent for clearing up nail funguses!
Smells great, love all the antifungal, antibacterial benefits of tea tree oil. I work in a salon and purchase the 1/2 oz amber bottles with brushes and fill with tea tree and sell to clients with nail fungus. They apply the tea tree daily and and things clear up in a matter of weeks!
    Great quality
This tea tree is one of the best eo I have came across yet, not too strong and blends well with my butters and soaps. I plan on using this oil in every blend I make due to its medicinal properties. Always satisfied with Camden's quality of products.
    Superior Tea Tree EO
I have gotten my EO's from several soap suppliers in the past, but CG's EO's are absolutely superior. I don't get them from anywhere else now. Eucalyptus and Tea Tree are especially tricky EO's, and when they are done badly, it's truly bad. CG's Eucalyptus is very true to the plant and of very high quality. And so often Tea Tree EO can be bitter or sour, but not CG's - it's strong, clean, and pleasant. CG has the best EO's on the market, hands down.
    Lovely Scent
I really love the scent of this tea tree oil. It has a clean scent and is great to use as an antiseptic and if you want to use it to clean your tub. It definitely gets out the grease in your tub too and in the bathroom it really gets rid of the bacteria. Also, great to get rid of acne and great to use for a mouthwash.
Out sells all my other soap fragrances 5 to 1!
I got into making my own soap over a decade ago, for my own household use. Friends started asking me to make them different blends and one was Tea Tree. I tried the oil and found that the significant skin issues I had had for most of my life vanished! My shower is never without Tea Tree. I started getting requests to demonstrate (and sell) my soap at local and regional events. Tea Tree out sells every other soap combined. Camden-Grey is the place I always turn to to get my oils, great pricing, excellent service.
    Wonderful price!
You can't beat the price. I use tea tree oil for everything. It is great for after shave, pimples, and any boo-boos.
    Super oil!
I used this to cure athlete's foot, and it worked better than my prescription! Has strong anti-fungal and anti-bacterial qualities, which makes it good for acne in small doses. Has a strong herbal, yet refreshing scent...some love it, some hate it! Make sure you don't use full strength, as it can be irritating and make your skin tingle.
Tea Tree is a versatile EO - this is great quality!
So, in my many years as an aromatherapist this EO has been one of my "go to" oils for just about anything skin. It's nice to have a place to purchase larger quantities of a great quality tea tree. I use this tea tree in my respiratory/skin blends - LOVE IT
    This wonderful oil!
Listen here! This oil needs to be in everyone stash. I use this for pretty much everything! Hair dry or oily type..very good to keep the dandruff away longer (oil treatment, shampoo, conditioner, hair mask), skin..it helps for all skin type, esp ones for oily acne prone skin. It helps for all skin type with acne or even if you don't have acne, still good to use. You could use this as an addition to clean your house. Womanly things. Warts and anything with anti fungal. I could go on and on. One of many essential oil I will always have.

Should the distiller or vendor inform us restocking will take longer than 7 business days, we’ll promptly notify the customer.

Please note that we do not allow order cancellations for any reason and we don’t allow removal/cancellations of products which become partially or completely out of stock after the customer places an order.

Raw materials/ingredients are dispensed by weight. Many customers ask how many ounces in a pound, there are 16 ounces in one pound. These are not fluid ounces, they are ounces by weight.

    EO = essential oil

EO's in sizes of 25+ lbs. - industry-standard metal or plastic can with a pouring spout, the oil may remain inside the metal can indefinitely and up to 2 months in the plastic pail. It's our decision in which type of pail we dispense the product, metal cans are not readily available. CARRIER OILS - plastic bottles/pails depending on the size ordered, do not need to be transferred to glass unless you wish to do so. FO's - in plastic containers, contents do not need to be transferred to glass unless you wish to do so.
