Queen of Lavenders
I have tried countless lavender oils from various sources, and it seems that different people favor different types of lavender. This one is for me, hands down, the preferred lavender for therapeutic value as well as a pleasing, non-camphorous scent. I would choose this over any other lavender for therapeutic oil blends as well as diffusing if you are intending to bring a soothing atmosphere to any room.
I've tried a few differerent lavenders for my soaps and salts and so far I like this variety the best. It has a light, flowery essence and is not as camphorous as some of the other varieties. The lovely floral essence makes it through the cold process soap process beautifully. It blends well with everything and is never too dominant. I have used this oil in bath salts and they turned out heavenly. Also, I put a drop on a mosquito bite that was itching terribly and it stopped itching immediately and never came back! Excellent product!
Lavender can be used for so many things. The quality of camden grey oils are great, so are the prices. I got this oil to use on my daughter after a surgery, it has amazing properties.
A beautiful, full scented lavender
I'm very proud to have this lavender in my aromatherapy inventory. It's got an herbaceous, yet mellow tone and is perfect for blending with other essential oils for aromatherapy. It's definitely my "Swiss Army Knife" essential oil!
My Everything Oil
I absolutely love this oil and use it for so many things. It has a sweeter and stronger smell then the 40/42. I use a drop directly on the skin for perfume. Mix a few drops with aloe gel and use as a deodorant. Mix with some grape-seed oil and rub into my temples when I can't sleep. Add a few drops in grape-seed oil with a few drops of peppermint to make my migraines go away. And the scent never gets old. Since it's too precious to use in soap (I use the 40/42 in that), a 1/2 ounce bottle lasts me at least a year.
Perfect for Balms
This is the perfect Lavender for a Boo Boo balm I make. I made some for a coworker who requested something else for his eczema. And because of him using this balm in his office, I’ve had multiple orders because folks love the smell coming out of his office. They’ve said it’s like a spa. Both men and women, adore this lavender. And now I’m out and need more. If you have someone who is looking for the real deal for therapeutic uses, look no further.
Extremely well rounded
This is the only lavender I'm smelled that can compare with Bulgarian lavender. It has a very soft and floral scent with just the touch of herb to round it out. I have to admit, I probably won't use this oil to make soap as it would be a shame to subject such a fine EO to the saponification process.
Lovely relaxing bath
I received this delightful lavender essential oil and couldn't wait to twist off the cap and take a big whiff based on the posted reviews. I was not dissappointed. It smells heavenly! I poured some over some dead sea salts that I also ordered from CG, waited about two hours and took a wonderfully thearaputic bath. The bathroom smelled like a lavender field :)
I absolutely love this oil. It smells wonderful and has so many uses. Right now I am using it to help with some skin irritation, my babies teething pain, and my kids bedtime blend. So many uses!
really love the smell
I really love this smell, but since it is more expensive, I mix it with body lotion for personal use. For my cp soap, I use 40/42.
Several things I truly appreciate is that you can always trust Camden-Grey to ship only the finest highest quality essential oils. As soon as you open their product, you know it's 100% the real deal! And always it's smartly packaged and super fast shipped! Because so many dealers sell all kinds of products that are watered down or laced with jojoba oil, that is another key reason why I only trust Camden-Grey and will always be a returning Camden-Grey customer!! :)
My Favorite Lavender!
This is exactly what you expect to smell when you pick lavender, so I call it True Lavender or sometimes Fine French Lavender. Ive used this In many things, & most recently in a oil blend to help a elderly client recover from a fall which bruised her femur. She has been much less restless & has been sleeping better as well as has been functioning better over all & the inflamation in her leg has been greatly reduced!
Lavender Essential Oil
I like this Lavender essential so much that when it went out of stock I made sure I order enough (2 lbs!) when it was available again! I use so much Lavender in my products. I have "smelled" several other Lavender EO's from other companies, but yours is lovely!
Thank you so much for this Essential oil. I Love the smell I use it in my lotions and soaps.Thank you
Must have Lavender oil!
This is one of my favorite Lavenders,in fact the lavender I've tried that I like better is a High Altitude French Lavender. I have several varities in my house at all times for both personal and business use and this is the only one I will panic over when I get low. Of all the lavenders offered by camden grey this is the "must have" Lavender-in my opinion.
One of my favorites!
The quality of this oil is by far the very best. I've ordered French Lavender from other sites and they do not even compare. Very good quality. And as always, good price!
great for business!
I love the French Lavender oil! One of my favorite oils I've purchased. I own a housekeeping company and use this lavender in a majority of my products. All my clients absolutely love coming home to their houses smelling like french lavender!
Most like Lavender flowers on the plant
I have long been a fan of Camden Grey's 40/42 Lavender essential oil, but recently got curious to try their Bulgaria, French, and Maillette lavenders as well. I summarized my "research" notes in the 40/42 section, but am also submitting reviews in the other lavender sections. Hope this is helpful to you: 40/42 = Both sharp and quintessentially lavender smelling. Bulgaria = Finer than 40/42, but most similar to it in complexity. French = Very fine, soft, even delicate scent. Reminds me most of Lavender flowers on the plant. Less sharp and more herbaceous, it is the most "floral" smelling as well, in my opinion. It is really lovely, but a little dull in comparison to 40/20 and the Bulgarian Lavender oils, as it is the least sharp. Maillette = It is warm and very mild, almost woodsy, very earthy with a little sharpness. Least Lavender-y
I found the French Lavender to be a soft lavender. Very pretty, not harsh. Less medicinal than lavender 40/42 but not quite so lavender-ish to my nose. Will try Bulgarian next.
Love this Lavender!
My customers absolutely love this lavender. I was not personally a fan of lavender......until now. This lavender scents shea butter beautifully.
"Essential" to your oil kits. The scent is always consistent. The French Lavender has a light aroma that blends well with most oils. I use it in my creams, sprays, scrubs and lip balms.
