Not very woody
Smells more sweet and green than the "Virginia" variety, but is still an interesting oil.
Smells great, blends easily with lavender, great insect repeller.
Another great woody scent
I like the smell of Atlas Cedarwood much more than the Virginia Cedarwood. It has a unique woody scent that I can't put my finger on. I used it in a blend with spruce, pine needle and fir needle with a little vetiver in a cp soap and it smells fantastic.
I wasn't too sure about this at first but I love this product. It can be blended with rosemary and lavender very nicely. Thanks Camden!
My entire family loves the scent of cedarwood so we have found it to be very versatile!
I bought the cedarwood to use in a blend for my dad, and it has turned out to be one that I love. It has a great soothing woodsy smell. Very soft and relaxing.
Loveee the woodsy earthy smell of this oil. I massaged a little on my scalp and it allowed me to relax and it produced a nice soothing feeling. Was afraid at first that the scent would not be feminine enough but when added to my oil blend it proved me wrong. Of course it is a nice quality as is the Camden Grey way.
I can't say I totally loved this out of the bottle, however I add it to my other essential oils and it really helps give a warm undertone to many herbal scents. I am certainly re-ordering more! Great price and very nice woodsy oil...
LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Woodsy essential oils just works for me! Love the smell of this! Can't even begin to tell about the benefits this does for me. Great for colds, hair & scalp, skin! By the way this is good for oily and dry skin. The price you CAN NOT beat!! Will always be in my collection! Look forward to using this in a lot more things! Thank you Camden Grey!
Sweetish, woodsy and therapeutically indespensible
I use this in my sea clay body mask/scrub for detox and cellulite, as well as aftershave and colognes. I'm looking forward to incorporating in other blends as well since it rounds out a woodsy, earthy blend with such unmatched grace. A true surprise since, when I first took in its aroma, I was unsure what to do with it. It's another "best of both worlds" (meaning both scent and therapeutic value) in my book!
Nice warm, woodsy scent
I use this essential oil in my CP soap for men and I can't keep it on the shelves! It seems my customers can't get enough of it, men & women both. The Cedarwood E.O. is such a nice warm, woodsy scent and is not overpowering.
One of my personal favorites and at a great price!
Love this in my homemade cleaners
I use this in homemade cleaners. Love the fresh woodsy smell it leaves. Makes a lovely CP soap mixed with orange EO.
Works well in CP soaps!
I bought this oil recently and I have always loved the smell of cedar. I am completely thrilled with it. I used it in a batch of goat milk soap with a little bit of tea tree oil for a woodsy smelling and possibly insect repelling soap! Very nice. Top Quality.
So Many Uses!
This oil reminds me of the big cedar closets my parents had in their basement. The aroma is simply intoxicating! I use this oil in perfumes, insect repellents, diffusers, shampoo, and as a skin tonic..great for acne and oily skin.
Great smell and great insect repellent
I add a few drops of cedarwood and peppermint to a 50/50 mixture of sweet almond oil and jojoboa as a flea and mosquito repellent for my inside dogs and cats (just don't use it around the eyes). The oil quickly absorbs and their coat looks great. It also helps to keep their coat bacterial and fungus free and it makes them smell great! For my outside dogs, horse and goat, I make a mixture with water. Just what I will use for the day and spray it on them once to twice a day. Repels flys and gnats wonderfully!
I've tried other Atlas Cedarwood essential oils. But this one! This one takes my breath away. It is very warm and woody, but also has a mild sweetnes about it. It takes everything I can do not to just sit and smell it straight from the bottle. Camden-Grey is one of my top favorites for purchasing essential oils. Even one of my soap-making books recommends Camden-Grey as a company that gives you what you ask for. I use this Atlas Cedarwood in several of my soaps and lotions and my customers love it!
