Castile Gel Soap: This is the mildest castile soap formula available in the marketplace at this time. This product is free of artificial colors, fragrances, preservatives, animal products, byproducts and testing. Our castile gel soap may be used for hand and body wash, oily hair shampoo and for general purpose cleaning.
This product is ready for you to add whichever ingredients you wish, i.e., a few drops of jojoba for dry skin, Carrot Seed EO for mature skin, Rosemary to perk you up, Sandalwood to calm you, Tea Tree for fungus and so on. Please note that if you add too much of a fixed or carrier oil you will cut down on the lathering ability. Great as a hand or face soap and overall body soap. Fine for the dog also, just add Tea Tree and Cedarwood essential oils in very small amounts for fleas, a few drops of jojoba for dry, flaky skin, etc.
Ingredients: Saponified Oils of Coconut, Olive and Jojoba, Aloe Vera, Glycerin/Vegetable Gum Extract, Rosemary Extract. This is a thick product (honey-like consistency), with a dark yellow or dark orange color. Since this is an all natural product, the color may vary from batch to batch, we are not responsible for color variations. Sold by weight.
NOTE: You may find that some essential or fragrance oils will not mix very well with a soap base which is all natural. Please test carefully using a small amount of soap base and essential or fragrance oils. Some essential oils and fragrance oils may float on top of the mixture if too much is used. You may warm the mixture slightly, stir the oils back in, wait 24 to 48 hours and check for separation. You should always gently stir the base while incorporating additives. Both the base and the additives should be at similar temperatures. Always stir from the bottom up to create as little bubbling action as possible. This is an all natural product with no anti-caking additive. Manufactured in the U.S.

I just used a dot on my hand for a face wash and it lathered a lot. I don't have to use much, which makes the cost of the product even better. Also tried it on my hands first and it left a soft, clean feel.

CG has the best and most natural castile i have found to date. The fragrance is subtle and fresh, good viscosity, foams beautifully and leaves the skin in great condition. I use in all types of ways and combinations and am thoroughly thrilled. Thanks for a great product!

Just received this and it is truly wonderful. I've bought at least 3 other castiles to see which works best for me. I LOVE the viscosity of this, like CG stated, it's like honey, which makes it easy to pour and not waste. I can't really say there is any smell which is great because it leaves you a choice to add fragrance or essential oil or not. If you already have a fragrance in your lotion, or some perfume on, you may not want to have it in your soap too. The FEEL....is SILKY and the lather is second to none, foams up quickly with a silky RICH LATHER that is AMAZING and it's affordable. Some places have priced their castiles right out of my life, so yay, I've found something much, much better here at Camden Grey and will continue to give them my business and speak to others about their terrific products, great prices, fantastic service/delivery, what's not to love.

I started using this as a facewash along with some almond oil, and it works great! My face gets easily irritated by fragrances, and since I started using this my skin feels healthy and redness has gone away. Great product, and mixes easily with oils and EO's.

I have tried multiple castile soap from the store and online. This is hands down the best castile soap. Not only is it great for my natural hair but it does wonders for my skin. I have dry, sensitive skin and this soap (mixed with grapeseed oil, olive oil and a little shea butter) is the BEST shower gel ever. My skin glowed and had an even tone. My family and friends even started to notice. It is so gentle that my skin was not dry after the shower like usual even though I was thoroughly clean.

Love It! Great for washing infants and babies and for folks with sensitive skin. Can mix Lavender Essential Oil or other essential oils with Castile Gel. The gel lasts longer than the liquid gel especially if mixing with an essential oil

Oh my word! I just bought a 16 oz size and had to immediately go back and re-order more. I LOVE this stuff. The smell is light and conducive to adding scents or not. But I love the fact it only takes a small amount to create a wonderful lather. I've used it on my body and face, too, with great results. I added a little meadowfoam seed oil so it wasn't drying at all. I did try it on my hair, but the result was not good. Possibly because of the added oil? Still an awesome product!

Love it I tried two other castile soap and couldn't get past the smell, this is so light in smell it did not over power the fragrance!!!! Thank you!!!!

this soap lathers very well and is a great alternative for traditional liquid shower gel especially for women who are sensitive to fragrance and lotions in their soap products. Most fragrances blend well. When it gets cold however sometimes it will become sort of cloudy and a lil thicker but it doesn't affect the quality.
OUT OF STOCK ISSUES: If a customer orders a large quantity of a product and all of the product is not in stock when the order is entered into our system, once the new stock arrives we will ship separately whatever quantity we may owe the customer. Most of our restocking orders arrive at our warehouse 5-7 business days after we place a restocking order, sometimes sooner. Should the distiller or vendor inform us restocking will take longer than 7 business days, we’ll promptly notify the customer.
Please note that we do not allow order cancellations for any reason and we don’t allow removal/cancellations of products which become partially or completely out of stock after the customer places an order.
Raw materials/ingredients are dispensed by weight. Many customers ask how many ounces in a pound, there are 16 ounces in one pound. These are not fluid ounces, they are ounces by weight.
EO = essential oil
FO = fragrance oil
Our containers are filled with products to where our commercial digital scales indicate the container should be filled. Some containers will be filled to the top, some will not.
HOW OILS ARE DISPENSED: All our products are dispensed by weight. EO's in 8 oz. through 2 lbs. - amber plastic pharmaceutical-grade bottle. EO's in 5 and 10 lbs. - heavy duty plastic container w/pouring spout, the oil may remain inside the container at least 2 months. EO's in sizes of 25+ lbs. - industry-standard metal or plastic can with a pouring spout, the oil may remain inside the metal can indefinitely and up to 2 months in the plastic pail. It's our decision in which type of pail we dispense the product, metal cans are not readily available. CARRIER OILS - plastic bottles/pails depending on the size ordered, do not need to be transferred to glass unless you wish to do so. FO's - in plastic containers, contents do not need to be transferred to glass unless you wish to do so.
Essential oils in sizes from ½ oz. to 4 oz. are dispensed in amber glass bottles without orifice reducers or glass droppers. If we ever run out of amber glass bottles, we reserve the right to use any other glass bottle available at that time. The only sizes of EO's dispensed with orifice reducers are 1/32, 1/16, 1/8 and 1/4 oz. sizes. If you require bottles/vials with orifice reducers or Eurodroppers, we sell those separately.
HOW TO STORE: Upon receipt, EO's dispensed in plastic bottles MUST be transferred into amber glass bottles. EO's, FO's and BUTTERS should be stored in tightly-sealed containers away from direct light and heat. Many oils could be highly flammable, keep away from open flames. Refrigerating butters could adversely affect the consistency of the butter, please join our Forum if you need to learn how to handle and store products.
