    Rosy and Bright Floral Bouquet
    ★★★★★ ★★★★★

    I've loved essential oils for 21 years, so I sampled Geranium Bourbon. Thank you for this treasure! I quickly bought this beauty in a big bottle! I adore Rose, so I was happy to find this Geranium Bourbon because it is quite rosy and is very affordable. It isn't a synthetic copy of rose, its more like a floral sister, with a complex blend of green and varied florals that is strongly rosy. This is a full-bodied strong oil, and a little goes a long way, making it even more affordable. It's very complex all by itself, so I don't blend this beauty with anything other than a soft base note or another floral for a VERY full bouquet. Very feminine, medium level intoxicating, clean, fresh and lovely floral. (Writing this made me get up and grab my bottle for a reminder inhalation, yum!)

    Just because you can't afford rose oil doesn't mean you have to do without. The scent is nearly identical and it's properties equally beneficial. I use this in my facial serum with frankincense, lavendar, helichrysum, & almond oil. Smells heavenly! I'm very happy with it!

    Geranium is one of those oils which you soak up or repel - why? Because it brings balance in a deep and relaxing way. It has a very strong flowery smell that you can literally drown in it's so good! Combined with with a complimentary citrus or even lavender oil it harmonizes well to create a uplifting mood enhancing scent and mind clarity energizer.

    I sometimes hate geranium oils. They smell too green or grassy and it can be overpowering. I finally gave in and got this one. It's more expensive than most oils I use for CP soap, but thought it would be worth it. I like it and will continue to use it. It is my favorite geranium oil I have smelled. Although I still don't love geranium oil, this is a good one.

    Intoxicating and beautiful. This bourbon type geranium, opened a whole new interest in geranium for me. I have used geranium essential oil more for the properties than the aroma. I love it so much I have been incorporating it into many of my products that need that touch of exotic floral. I also add it to my cold pressed rose soap. It gives the rose and extra kick, and allows me to use less of rose oil which can be quite expensive. My customers rave about the effects it has on them when having P.M.S..

    Geranium is one of my favorite oils, I use it in my salves and oils to aid in menstrual cramps for family and friends and it has worked. I can't wait to experiment with it in other products.
    Very nice!

    Oh, wow. I'm very nearly at a loss for words to explain just how nice this Geranium Bourbon is... especially at this price! I was truly floored when I uncapped the vial and took my first sniff. I'm an indie perfumer who is always looking for the best suppliers of specific EO's and absolutes so I like to sample things from lots of different suppliers. Camden-Grey's Geranium is hands down the absolute best I've ever smelled. You cannot beat the price for this quality of EO, trust me. Like someone else said, I never really cared that much for Geranium - but this one just might convert me. Most Geranium EO's are very sharp and very green to my nose with a very faint underpinning of rose, but this one is rich, mellow, and rosy. It still has a green note, but without the sharp biting edge that most seem to have. I find myself continually uncapping it for another whiff. Thanks, CG! This was my first order with you guys and I was so impressed with everything. I'll definitely be back.
    By far the best!

    You will not find a better geranium EO. I was so surprised when I bought this and actually fell in love with the beautiful aroma as I have always found other geranium EO's to be cloyingly sweet. This one actually has the scent of rose mixed with it. If you have never liked geranium, try this one. You are in for a pleasant surprise!

    Oh, my!! This is an exquisite, and intense rosy geranium. Just a little goes a long way. I used a blend of geranium bourbon with several other essential oils to make a decadent bath salt blend.....I never wanted to leave the tub!!

    Thanks for browsing thru this section which contains answers to many questions that are often asked of us. Here we explain where to locate CofA and SDS for a product, how we dispense and package our products, how products should be stored, basic terminology and the wait time for bulk products to ship from our warehouse. FYI: We're closed on Fridays.

    Certificate of Analysis (CofA) and Safety Data Sheet (SDS). We publish on our website those documents for most of our products, some products don't provide either because the product doesn't require it. In this same section where you're at now, look to the tab to the left titled Documents, click on it and that's where you'll find either document for the product you seek. If you do not find the document you require, please email us at customerservice@camdengrey.com so we can research further.

    BULK ITEMS: When a customer adds a bulk item to the cart, the customer’s immediately shown on the screen how many number of days should be allowed for the bulk product to arrive at our warehouse. If the bulk item happens to be in stock, we’ll ship sooner than the customer would expect. As we emerge from Covid, logistics operations are not yet back to normal, what used to arrive at our warehouse in 3 days now takes much longer. Should a vendor inform us the ordered product will take longer than what’s mentioned on our website we’ll email the customer with the latest information.

    TERMINOLOGY:

    EO = essential oil

    FO = fragrance oil

    HOW PRODUCTS ARE DISPENSED...

    BOTTLING/PACKAGING:

    Essential oils: in 1/32 oz. to 1/4 oz...amber glass vials with orifice reducers. ½ oz. to 2 oz...in amber glass bottles with white caps and Eurodroppers...3 to 4 oz. in amber glass bottles with black caps and without orifice reducers...7 oz. in aluminum bottles...15 oz. in amber glass bottles with black caps...10 & 25 lbs. in HDPE plastic containers with wide mouths although, occasionally, 25 lbs. may be dispensed in factory-issued metal containers with pouring spouts.

    28 lbs. of carrier oils and other liquids are dispensed in individual HDPE plastic gallon containers with handles, each holds the purchased net weight of liquid.

    30+ lbs. of carrier oils, other liquids, soft butters, Castile gel and other products are dispensed in plastic HDPE pails w/metal handles & pouring spouts in the lid; those products may remain inside the pails indefinitely when properly stored. After Covid, we reserve the right to use any packaging/dispensing container available to us and not mentioned above because it continues to be difficult many times to restock the same packaging container or material used in the past.

    NOTE: An EO may safely remain inside an aluminum container for up to 3 months, but if storing longer than 3 months the oil should be transferred to amber glass. Fragrances and carrier oils up to 8 lbs. may remain inside HDPE plastic bottles indefinitely. If the customer at any time feels more comfortable transferring a product to glass this should be done. ALL PRODUCTS ARE DISPENSED BY WEIGHT, THUS, SOME CONTAINERS MAY BE FILLED HIGHER THAN OTHERS DEPENDING ON THE WEIGHT AND VISCOSITY OF EACH PRODUCT.

    Raw materials/ingredients are dispensed by weight. Many customers ask how many ounces in a pound, there are 16 ounces in one pound. These are not fluid ounces, they are ounces by weight.

    HOW TO STORE: EOs, FOs and BUTTERS should be stored in tightly-sealed containers away from direct light and heat. Some EOs could be highly flammable, keep away from open flames. Keep all liquids and powders you purchase from Camden-Grey tightly capped and away from the reach of children, the elderly or infirm and pets. Refrigerating butters could adversely affect the consistency of the butter, please join our Forum if you need to learn how to handle, work with and store products.
