    PHTHALATE FREE. Vanilla Lace: Better than "straight" vanilla! This is a scent that no serious soaper or toiletrymaker should be without. It is strong and smells like a combination of creamy vanilla bean notes blended with coconut and and a hint of musk. (Had minimal discolouration for a vanilla FO.) CP was light caramel colour.

    This FO probably also needs extra stirring in CP....it settled a bit towards the edges. No discolouration at all in HP. M&P was quite clear - little discolouration. Flash point: >199F. UN #3082, Packing Group III, Class 9. Cannot ship via air or ocean, cannot ship internationally.

    I looked several places for a vanilla that would make me happy. As an extreme vanilla lover, I just didn't find any that I liked nearly as well as this one. It's very pretty! A lovely sweet vanilla, with just a hint of coconut in the background. It stands nicely on it's own and blends well with many other scents.
    Yummy

    I mixed this with some of my more stronger butters to subdue the odor,it works always.

    This smells heavenly! Great deep vanilla aroma mixes well with carrier oils, salts and dry milk products. Will always be part of my inventory.

    Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!This smells like you can eat it. It reminds me of happy times as a kid waiting for the pies to cool. Love it and plan to use it my products. This is a must have.

    I wasn't so sure about this, I think it smells a bit smokey, but my husband used this soap and was raving about the great smell. Not too feminine certainly and I think I'll try mixing it with something else next time. Scent is a little light, I had to add more than I usually would.
    Pure Vanilla Heaven!

    I ordered the Vanilla Lace fo because you were out of the Vanilla Absolute at the time of my purchase. I can say that I am well pleased! I use this in my hair and body butters and people always make a comment saying that they smell something sweet... like cake! I like to add different fragrances to it to make a special kind of cake scent, and with just the right amount (you have to play with it a bit), it comes out wonderful and lasts until you wash your hair. I will surely be repurchasing this again in the near future, but in a bigger size. Definably a staple product!
    Surprisingly Nice

    I am not a fan of Vanilla fragrance so I was skeptical. But, I received my oil for a soapmaking mix recipe, and it is very nice. It's not that gross overpowering vanilla that is so typical. I have already used it in several soap recipes and it adds the perfect amount of softening sweetness. Yes, I recommend.
    Wonderful!

    nice vanilla fragrance oil
    (mountain view, CA, US) | March 1st, 2010
    I am waiting for the vanilla absolute to become available, so in the meantime I ordered this vanilla FO. Since I am in need of a straight vanilla, this FO is not perfect for me, but it does smell nice, and exactly as indicated in the description - a bit of coconut and musk, but in a subtle, pleasant way. I am pretty discriminating with Vanilla scents (I ordered a whole bunch from another company and hated all of them), and I will continue to use this one. The only thing I would change is perhaps it could be a bit stronger (or maybe I just need to order more of it).

    OUT OF STOCK ISSUES: If a customer orders a large quantity of a product and all of the product is not in stock when the order is entered into our system, once the new stock arrives we will ship separately whatever quantity we may owe the customer. Most of our restocking orders arrive at our warehouse 5-7 business days after we place a restocking order, sometimes sooner. Should the distiller or vendor inform us restocking will take longer than 7 business days, we’ll promptly notify the customer.

    Please note that we do not allow order cancellations for any reason and we don’t allow removal/cancellations of products which become partially or completely out of stock after the customer places an order.

    Raw materials/ingredients are dispensed by weight. Many customers ask how many ounces in a pound, there are 16 ounces in one pound. These are not fluid ounces, they are ounces by weight.

    EO = essential oil

    FO = fragrance oil

    Our containers are filled with products to where our commercial digital scales indicate the container should be filled. Some containers will be filled to the top, some will not.

    HOW OILS ARE DISPENSED: All our products are dispensed by weight. EO's in 8 oz. through 2 lbs. - amber plastic pharmaceutical-grade bottle. EO's in 5 and 10 lbs. - heavy duty plastic container w/pouring spout, the oil may remain inside the container at least 2 months. EO's in sizes of 25+ lbs. - industry-standard metal or plastic can with a pouring spout, the oil may remain inside the metal can indefinitely and up to 2 months in the plastic pail. It's our decision in which type of pail we dispense the product, metal cans are not readily available. CARRIER OILS - plastic bottles/pails depending on the size ordered, do not need to be transferred to glass unless you wish to do so. FO's - in plastic containers, contents do not need to be transferred to glass unless you wish to do so.

    Essential oils in sizes from ½ oz. to 4 oz. are dispensed in amber glass bottles without orifice reducers or glass droppers. If we ever run out of amber glass bottles, we reserve the right to use any other glass bottle available at that time. The only sizes of EO's dispensed with orifice reducers are 1/32, 1/16, 1/8 and 1/4 oz. sizes. If you require bottles/vials with orifice reducers or Eurodroppers, we sell those separately.

    HOW TO STORE: Upon receipt, EO's dispensed in plastic bottles MUST be transferred into amber glass bottles. EO's, FO's and BUTTERS should be stored in tightly-sealed containers away from direct light and heat. Many oils could be highly flammable, keep away from open flames. Refrigerating butters could adversely affect the consistency of the butter, please join our Forum if you need to learn how to handle and store products.
